Weekend Class Times (Must attend both weekends):

Fridays 5-8 PM
Saturdays 9 AM- 4 PM
Sundays 1-6 PM

Four-Day Week Class Times:

Monday-Wednesday 9 AM- 5 PM
Thursday 9 AM - 3 PM
(Christmas Break Class, December 27th-30th, times will differ)

Driver Education for Greater Hickory Area

We offer driver education classes and behind-the-wheel driving sessions for students in the greater Hickory area.

At Hester Driving Academy, we believe there is more to learning to drive than passing a permit or license test. We provide our students with a foundation that will last a lifetime and keep them safer on our roadways. We look forward to working with you to get your North Carolina permit or driver's license.

TEEN DRIVER EDUCATION

Take our comprehensive teen driver ed course at our Hickory location. Gain confidence behind-the-wheel and learn the law/rules of the roadway with our North Carolina state-approved driver ed program.

Please note: You must pay your deposit upon registration or your account may be deleted. Only accounts with their deposit paid will be secured in a class.

Remember we need only one parent to attend the mandatory parent meeting, starting at 5:00 pm the first day of class. This class will meet June 13-15 and 20-22. Check your student center for the times. Friday class starts at 5 pm. Saturdays are 9 am and Sunday 1 pm.
