Hester Driving Academy was established in August 2007 by Hal and Pam Hester, who sought a more flexible means of driver education after their daughter took the program through a public school system.
Our daughter, Wittley, had always been involved in several sports, making her schedule very hectic. In the driver education program she took, she was not allowed to miss a day, or she would be dropped from the class. For the average teenager, this isn't easy. Hester Driving Academy created ways to make driver education flexible and accommodating to teen's busy lifestyles.
Hester Driving Academy offers driver education classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction for students 14 1/2 and under 18 years of age. The curriculum meets the North Carolina Graduated Licensing requirements for students to obtain permits. We also help adults acquire their Norrth Carolina permits and driver's licenses.
